IVAN RAMEN

Ivan Ramen, located at 25 Clinton Street in New York City’s Lower East Side, is a renowned ramen restaurant founded by chef Ivan Orkin. After establishing successful ramen shops in Tokyo, Orkin returned to his hometown to introduce his unique take on Japanese cuisine. His first flagship restaurant in the US.

I created all identity and branding for Ivan’s Orkin’s first flagship restaurant and evolving brand of restaurants. I worked with Ivan and his team to design logo, menus, web, social and countless other print, digital and experiential elements.

I had the exciting opportunity to curate the restaurant with eye-popping art and design throughout. I created a mural and multiple paintings mixing his passions for NYC and Japanese cultures. I designed and partnered with Nathan Fox to create a Lightbox manga-inspired comic strip above the bar- instructing diners on “The Art of the Slurp”
