At the time, I was freelancing—an “outdoor cat,” as I called it—when I landed a permalancer gig at a live events agency. Live events and permalancing were both new to me, so I jumped in. They needed help with large-scale projects, which felt like a fresh challenge.
On my first day at INVNT’s Soho HQ, I overheard a discussion about the agency’s rebrand. Unhappy with the work from their branding firm, they were brainstorming ideas. I offered to take a stab at it—and that was the turning point.
The logo and symbol I created became the face of INVNT for over a decade, evolving alongside the agency’s growth. I led all branding initiatives, from global office openings to collateral, murals, and even cupcake toppers. The brand became a creative playground for our team, where we refined our skills and kept pushing the identity forward.
Here are just a few small examples of that branding work.
