Design & Creative Direction: Claude Carril
As the all-things-invnt-brand-design guy for INVNT it was natural for the company’s leadership to tap me for a new large-scale agency initiative and launch of their new concept: INVNT Group. I was asked to create logo and all branding for an umbrella agency designed around growing portfolio of agencies with complementary disciplines designed to provide an engaging and consistent brand story across all platforms.
INVNT GROUP was comprised of 8 brands: INVNT, Folk Hero, Meaning, HEVE, INVNT Higher Ed, INVNT.ATOM, ITP LIVE, Hypnogram. Most agencies acquired I had the task of creating branding or implementing a brand refresh.
I was a major part of the initiative to then weave together these 8 agencies into each very different yet complementary brand identities.
The objective with the INVNT GROUP branding at the time was to make it look and feel similar to INVNT, but with less of the edgy attitude and more mature investor-friendly approach.
I was responsible for much of the agency’s interior art and vibe when they moved into their new financial district HQ. I commissioned artists to create a lobby mural, consulted in interior design curation and created my own collage mural in the office.
